Amy is the owner of The Little Yoga Studio. She has been a student of yoga for over 19 years. She has, raised three amazing children and has yet to grow even one ripe tomato. Amy feels tremendously blessed to be supported by many brilliant friends and talented fellow instructors, and the vibrant Boulder community.
I have practiced and studied with a variety of teachers and styles and find each discipline has great wisdom to offer.
My hope is to create a truly accessible, humble studio where the joy and growth and safety of each student is the focus. My wish is that any level of practitioner can come in, be challenged, learn, grow and feel like their hour at The LIttle Yoga Studio, is a wonderful way to release stress and develop strength and steadiness in their bodies, hearts and minds. I am also passionate about creating a studio where all teachers and styles of yoga are honored and respected equally.
Amy brings a sense of humor and playfulness, along with her love of music and attention to safe sequencing and alignment to her classes in order to create yoga classes that are wickedly fun, a great workout including lots of sweat and occasional laughter, while honoring the deep observances that yoga has to teach.
“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. (Albert Einstein)
