Just like nature, Carlie’s yoga practice is in constant flux. She believes that yoga can teach us, beautifully and painfully, all we need to know about impermanence. Carlie is not only interested in the process of svadhyaya, or self study, that takes place on the mat, but also how this process follows us off the mat and gets interwoven throughout our lives. As a current graduate student studying Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology, she has a deep understanding of how this practice moves energy, brings presence, and simply gets us out of out heads and into our bodies!
