“I think it is healing behavior, to look at something so broken and see the possibility and wholeness in it.” - Adrienne Maree Brown

Adrienne Maree Brown

Jules (they/them) is a queer embodiment facilitator who has been teaching trauma-informed yoga, movement, and meditation for over ten years. They are committed to promoting inclusive experiences through an queer, feminist, and decolonial lens– with body acceptance through liberatory movement as the ultimate intention.

Their classes reflect this through the cultivation of curiosity within our bodies, as well as invitations for play and exploration. They pull from their experience in the Hatha yoga tradition, their exposure to somatic experiencing techniques, their training in Y12SR (yoga for twelve step recovery), and their own personal experiences with trauma and trauma healing through movement.
