Hone your Craft: The Art of Teaching with Logic + Spirit

Hone your Craft is comprised of 4 individual workshops that are designed to assist YTT’s and Yoga Teachers in advancing their practical and intuitive teaching skills. Each workshop includes lecture, discussion, and group practices to strengthen the structure and essence of your yoga classes and workshops. Learn techniques to support your students’ takeaway, engagement, retention and benefits of practice.
Workshop 1 – Theme your Class with Intention: how to use symbolism, storytelling, mythology, archetypes, knowledge, and personal experience to theme your class.
Workshop 2 – Teach in Alignment with Nature: how to incorporate the seasons, directions, elements, chakras, and wildlife into your teaching.
Workshop 3 – Create a Balanced Flow Sequence: how to create safe and inspired sequins through structured movement patterning, variety, tempo-setting and intuitively reading the room.
Workshop 4 – Develop a Unique Workshop or Series: how to channel your interest and expertise into immersive workshops for your students through a thoughtful, professional, and business-oriented approach.
A manual is included with the content covered.
Valid for 12 CEUs through Yoga Alliance.
200-Hour Yoga Education Intensive
Dates: January 21st-March 20th, 2022
Spend nine weeks deepening your practice, transforming your relationship to yoga, and integrating the spiritual principles into your everyday life. Study is dedicated to improving your physical + spiritual practices in addition to strengthening your unique voice as a teacher. Leave the program with increased confidence, a broader awareness of self, and a sharpening understanding of your path.
Yin Yoga Education Immersion
Join Angela Schuster for a three week Yin Yoga Education Immersion. This program is intended for both students of yoga and teachers. Yin Yoga is a passive practice of asana to tend to passive tissue, bone, tendons, joints and ligaments. In Yin Yoga, we are able to shift subtle body energy and mindfulness through stillness and breath. Yin Yoga is holistic and intelligent, pulling from direct experience, wisdom traditions, and science.
